Cardiovascular Section Head, Seth J. Kligerman
Dr. Seth Kligerman is an Associate Professor and Section Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of California San Diego. After receiving his MD at The Chicago Medical School he completed his residency at the University of Colorado. His interest in cardiac and thoracic radiology led him to a fellowship in Thoracic Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. In his clinical duties, Dr. Kligerman currently performs both thoracic and cardiac imaging, including cardiac MRI and CTA. His research interests in CT currently include low-dose thoracic imaging, advanced reconstruction techniques, and computer-aided detection. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and has lectured both nationally and internationally in various topics related to both cardiac and thoracic imaging. Previously, he served as medical director of magnetic resonance imaging for the University of Maryland. Dr. Kligerman lecturers at the American Institute of Radiologic Pathology in both cardiac and thoracic imaging.
