GU Associate Chief, Jamie Marko

      

Jamie Marko M.D. is a Staff Clinician and Associate Research Physician in the Radiology and Imaging Sciences Department of the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. He completed a fellowship in Body Imaging at the National Capital Consortium. He holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Marko attended Misericordia University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor degree in Health Science and a Master degree in Physical Therapy.  He graduated from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his residency training at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in 2011.

 

Biographical Sketch. Jamie Marko M.D. is currently a Staff Clinician and Associate Research Physician in the Radiology and Imaging Sciences Department of the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. He is Associate Section Chief of Genitourinary Radiology for the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology in Silver Spring, Maryland. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.

 

Educational background. Dr. Marko received his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physical Therapy at Misericordia University in 2002 and medical degree at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. His residency was at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Chicago, IL from 2007-2011.  In 2014, Dr. Marko completed his fellowship at the National Capital Consortium, in Bethesda, MD.

 

Certifications and Licenses: Dr. Marko was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2011. Dr. Marko is licensed in Maryland.

 

Publications and Teaching. Dr. Marko is an author of 18 journal articles. He is serving as Associate Section Chief of Genitourinary Radiology and as a lecturer at the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology correlation course.
