Course Description

This course will present a comprehensive review of breast imaging, to include topics spanning conditions affecting the breast.

Course Objectives

  • Provide an accurate differential diagnosis and likelihood of malignancy based on mammography, ultrasound, and MRI features
  • Establish concordance for results of percutaneous breast biopsy based on histopathology and imaging features
  • Appropriately manage high-risk lesions found on percutaneous breast biopsy
  • Manage women with known or suspected breast cancer, understanding the needs of the breast/plastic surgeon, radiation oncologist, and medical oncologist
