Course Description

This course will present a comprehensive review of breast imaging, to include topics spanning conditions affecting the breast.

Course Objectives

  • Provide an accurate differential diagnosis and likelihood of malignancy based on mammography, ultrasound, and MRI features
  • Establish concordance for results of percutaneous breast biopsy based on histopathology and imaging features
  • Appropriately manage high-risk lesions found on percutaneous breast biopsy
  • Manage women with known or suspected breast cancer, understanding the needs of the breast/plastic surgeon, radiation oncologist, and medical oncologist

Thoracic and Cardiovascular Categorical Course

This course will help you identify imaging characteristics of lesions involving the chest and cardiovascular system that allow for narrowing of the differential diagnosis, illustrate how the underlying pathology of the lesion contributes to its imaging characteristics and highlight those chest diseases in which radiologic imaging is key for accurate diagnosis.
